They are solid ceramic and will not crumble or fall apart. It is very porous and in time will act similar to liverock.Frag Plugs are included.

Comes with two Sure Grip Magnet
The Frag Station and Reef Shelf are designed to be used on aquariums with a thickness of 1/2" or less. However they have been tested on tanks as thick as 3/4" with no problems. If your aquariums walls are thicker than 1/2" caution should be used when placing corals on them.
